Safe Delivery Guarantee (Damaged Goods)
All orders are pre-checked and are dispatched in pristine condition. We guarantee that your order will arrive as it left our headquarters, if it doesn't, we've got you covered.
If any goods arrive damaged, please get in touch as soon as possible within 48 hours of receipt of the order. Please include images of the damage in order for us to mitigate our losses via our insurers, once we have this we can process your request.
When approved under our ‘Safe Delivery Guarantee’, we will arrange to have the damaged item returned to us and a replacement will be sent out to you as soon as possible.
Should a replacement not be available, you will be entitled to a refund on the item. Damaged goods will be arranged for their due return and replacement at the expense of The Print Gallery and in all cases we must insist that goods are returned in same condition as received by you with all original packaging.
The Print Gallery under no circumstance takes any liability for artwork damaged once received. We are not responsible for unsafe hanging practices. Please note all artwork weights and hang accordingly. We take no responsibility for any damage to persons or other goods.
At the Print Gallery, all artwork is printed to order, so please choose carefully. We do not offer refunds or credits if you simply change your mind or make the wrong decision.
If, in the event that the item you received is different from what you ordered, you can choose between an exchange or credit. Where the goods are faulty, have been wrongly described, are significantly different to the product purchased on the website or doesn’t appear as it should you may request a refund.
Please note that the costs associated with returning the goods to The Print Gallery will be at the customer's expense. Any additional shipping costs will not be refunded or credited, only the cost of the item(s) being refunded.
A refund can only be issued once you have arranged and paid to have the goods returned to us.
A refund can only be issued after the goods have been returned to us and have been checked to be in the same condition as they had first shipped, for example, in all its original packaging, and in good condition.
The images of the products on our site are saved from the files used to print the artwork. This ensures that what you see on the site is what you will receive. Some screens that are not calibrated may display some of the colours slightly different than they are in reality, there is nothing that can be done about this. Refunds are not offered due to the colour not looking as you had expected.
Where a refund is required, funds will be refunded to you using the payment method you used when you made the original order, unless stated otherwise by The Print Gallery.
This refund policy is not intended to exclude or limit any rights, which you may have under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Commonwealth) or equivalent State or Territory laws Consumer Guarantees.
Under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010, as well as a number of other consumer laws specific to each State and Territory, you may have the right to have goods replaced, repaired or to receive a refund where:
- The goods are faulty;
- The goods are wrongly described;
- The goods are different from a sample shown to you; and/or
- The goods do not appear as they are supposed to do.
These consumer guarantees apply to all consumer contracts and cannot be excluded, restricted or modified. These are in addition to any voluntary warranties offered by the original supplier and/or artist.
Any expense incurred for returning the original product to The Print Gallery will be at our cost where it is deemed the goods have breached a consumer guarantee. Upon examination of the goods returned, if they are found to not be in breach of the consumer guarantees, you may be charged a fee for the return cost, examination of the goods, and any costs incurred to return the goods back to you.
Please note that goods must be returned within 7 days and you may be asked to demonstrate that the problem with the goods was not due to misuse or poor handling. Consumer Guarantees do not apply where the goods became unacceptable due to fair wear and tear, misuse, failure to use or mount the goods in accordance with our instructions, or failure to take due and reasonable care.
The Print Gallery will not hold or store any of your credit card details you provide when purchasing from our website. All data sent to our payment gateway is done so via a secure HTTPS connection.
All prices on our website are in Australian dollars (AUD) and are GST Inclusive. Prices are subject to change without notice at The Print Galleries discretion.
The Print Gallery uses eWay as their secure payment gateway. We can accept payment using VISA, MasterCard, American Express or Debit Card.
If you would like to make a payment via direct debit please contact us directly. The Print Gallery does not accept cash, cheque, bank cheque or money orders. Orders will not be processed until full payment has been received.
We offer free shipping for both framed and unframed prints purchased to be delivered with Australia.
For our international customers we offer free shipping worldwide for unframed prints.

Tracking Your Item(s)
We provide tracking information for all orders sent within Australia. You’ll be able to check in and see where it is on it’s way to you. Tracking on internationally destined orders is available in most cases.
Excess Weight & Oversized Shipments
We may have to apply additional shipping charges when pieces purchased are specially ordered in a larger format than the largest standard size option offered, additional shipping charges per item will be applied and shall be quoted on a case by case basis.
Whilst we do our best, due to the nature of viewing images on screens, unless yours is calibrated it is difficult to represent exactly how your print will look on a screen prior to purchase. You can rest assured however, that the artists have been involved in this process and what you receive is exactly what was intended.
Please note that some items are printed from negatives. These, in their very nature, are not as crisp and clean as images captured digitally. Each of these prints has it’s own unique marks and imperfections, these are part of the character of the image and carried through onto the print. Rest assured that all prints are as the artist intended.
The entire contents of the site are protected by international copyright and trademark laws. The owner of the copyrights and trademarks are The Print Gallery, its artist community, affiliates or other third party licensors. You may not modify, copy, reproduce, republish, upload, download, transmit or distribute in any manner, the content and material on the site, including text, code, images, and/or software. Sharing or posting on social media is allowed where The Print Gallery has been referenced.
Publications, products, content or services referenced herein or on the site are the exclusive trademarks and/or ownership of The Print Gallery. Other product and company names mentioned in the site may be the trademarks of their respective owners.
